Morgan Awarded Legal Honor

Dr. Edmund M. Morgan, Royall Professor of Law at the Harvard Law School, was awarded the National Military Establishment certificate last week by the office of the Secretary of Defense for "exceptional and meritorious civilian service."

Dr. Morgan won this certificate, one of five given out since the end of the war, for his work as chairman of the legal committee that drafted a uniform code of military justice.
