Dudley Shatters Scoring Record

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Dudley rolled up the highest score of the season in League A Intramural basketball yesterday, crushing Adams 66 to 34.

Brad, Ryan was high scorer for the Commuters with 22 points, excelling in jump shots and rebounds. The fast breaking ability of Johnny Woods, Carl Marshall, and Ryan, was one of the big reasons for Dudley's record-breaking success.

Eliot's 27 to 24 victory over Leverett last night came as a sharp contrast to the Dudley' game.

Kirkland Wallops Funsters

In the only other A game yesterday Kirkland defeated Dunster 34 to 23. The Deacons were trailing 19 to 11 at the half, but surged ahead quickly in the rest of the game.

Freshman basketball scores: Thayer Middle 26, Holworthy 23; Matthews North 33, Hollis 19; Weld North 19, Thayer North 15; Weld South 39, Wigglesworth 37; Claverly 39, Stoughton 26; Lionel 26, Mower 20; Straus 27, Thayer South 8.
