Harvard Still On Track To Reach Fossil Fuel-Neutral Status by 2026, Sustainability Report Finds
Rob Mathias, Olympic decathlon champion and the outstanding amateur athlete in the United States, visited Harvard yesterday during his vacation from Kiski Prep, Saltsburg, Pa.
The Tulare, California, track star is definitely entering Stanford in September, but his headmaster at Kiski, Llyod Clark on Exeter classmate of William J. Bingham '16, thought it would be a good idea for Mathias to see some eastern schools before going west.
Mathias arrived Monday night after visiting Yale. He stayed with the brother of a Law School student, a Stanford graduate. The Crimson Key Society escorted Mathias to football practice yesterday and introduced him to Art Valpey, Howle Houston, and track coach Jaskko. Mikkola. From here, Mathias moves on to Penn.
