Council Votes Tonight On Union Constitution

The Student Council will held its second special public meeting of the year in the Union at 7 p.m. tonight. Those who go will hear final point-by-point discussion and voting on the proposed Freshman Constitution.

The proposed charter would base membership in the Union Committee on election by "proctoral units" of about 50 men, instead of the current system of appointment by the proctors and Dean's Office and has raised considerable dispute.
