President Truman's compulsory health insurance plan will be pitted against the American Medical Association's opposing plan in a debate sponsored by the AVC at Phillips Brooke House at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow night.
Dr. Alan M. Butler, professor of pediatrics and chief of Children's Medical Service at Massachusetts General Hospital, will defend the Truman program, while Dr. John F. Conlon, director of medical information of the Massachusetts Medical Society, will support the AMA's new program for finance and distribution of medical care.
