Applications for Student Council Scholarships will be available in the Council's Phillips Brooks House offices from 2 to 5 pm. every afternoon this week and next, David L. McMurtrie '49, co-chairman of the Council's Student Welfare Committee, announced last night.
Between 25 to 30 scholarships will be awarded, McMurtrie stated, with stipends ranging from $25 to $50. Money will be granted in time for the May term bills.
Last term, McMurtrie's group selected 26 men for scholarships from approximately 70 applicants interviewed.
