NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Liberal Union lawyers discussed the current HLU Film Series litigation with the University Theater management yesterday but further details of the meeting were not announced, Roy F. Gootenburg '49 said last night.

However, a full report of the negotiations will be presented at a meeting of the HLU executive committee on Monday afternoon.

Forum

Gootenburg also announced that Arthur M. Schlesinger, Jr. '38, associate professor of History, will lead an informal discussion with HLU and Radcliffe members of Students for Democratic Action at 8 p.m. tomorrow in Adams Upper Common Room. The topic will be "The Proposed North Atlantic Pact."

The forum, first in a series of biweekly Sunday night meetings, is designed to bring faculty members and students into closer contact on current issues.

Norman Thomas

Next Friday afternoon Norman Thomas, Socialist Party candidate for President in the last election, will meet HLU members in another informal discussion. Thomas will talk about American socialism and liberalism and answer questions on the subject. Later in the evening he will address the Law School Forum on government regulation of the national economy.

Later, HLU forums will cover a number of topics ranging from specific bills before Congress to the general implications of Socialism.
