Dudley climbed into a third place tie with Kirkland in this year's House hockey league yesterday by beating the Deacons, 7 to 1, in the last game of the season.
The final standing is: Eliot (7-0), Winthrop (6-1), Kirkland and Dudley (4-3), Lowell (3-3-1), Leverett (2-5), Adams (1-6), and Dunster (0-6-1).
In other House games yesterday, Adams' basketball team defeated Winthrop, 40 to 28, scoring 14 points in an over-time period. The Gold Coasters were trailing, 26 to 24, ten seconds before the main part of the game was finished, when Chuck Roche scored two foul shots to force the extra period.
The high scorers for both teams, Frank Holt of Adams and Ted Nelson of Winthrop, were put out of the game on fouls.
Adams also downed Winthrop in the B league, 46 to 30.
