A $200 salary boost for teaching fellows will go into effect at the start of the University's fiscal year in June, Provost Buck announced yesterday. The present full-time salary is $3,000 a year.
Since most teaching fellows work halftime as section instructors, advisers, and tutors, the raise will only represent a hike from $1,500 to $1,600 in a great majority of cases, Buck explained.
