Freshman politicians started as early as 6:30 a.m. yesterday to get the jump on their fellow Jubilee Committee candidates and grab the best available poster space in the Union lobby. By mid-morning walls were covered with blatant advertisements picturing boisterous candidates and buxom models.

The Union Committee, recalling last year's near election of a fictitious freshman, Frederick B. Applegate '51, merely on the strength of distinctive campaign posters, now meets every evening at 7 p.m. to judge each poster and campaign stunt before its public appearance.
