John P. "Stuffy" McInnis will launch his Harvard career Saturday when he joins four Boston Braves to lecture on baseball techniques in Briggs Cage.
Hill Southworth, Earl Torgeson, Red Barrott, and Ray Martin will appear with McInnis when they speak before high school diamond coaches at the Boston Braves Baseball Clinic.
Southworth will open the series, which is directed by Jeff Jones '20, former Crimson first baseman, with a talk on coaching fundamentals. Afterwards the audience will see movies on pitching, batting, and double plays.
In the afternoon session Braves fans will be able to see Torgeson give demonstrations on hitting and bunting. Barrett and Martin will continue by showing proper pitching methods.
A talk on shortstop and second base playing by Boston University coach Fred McGuire will conclude the clinic.
Although the sessions are arranged for coaches, anybody will be admitted.
