'52 Billiard Sharks To Take Cue Today

Four pool tables and one billiard table will be ready for use in the Union at 1 p.m. today, Bill Reeb, Union secretary, announced last night. These cultural acquisitions will be available for freshman use every day from 12:45 to 9:45 p.m.

A fee of 20 cents per half hour, regardless of the number using the table, is necessitated by the federal Pool Table Act. However, it is not the purpose of the room to make a profit and if an excess of funds develops the fee will be lowered proportionately. Funds from the compulsory charge will be used to pay the salary of the student attendant.

The tables are located on the second floor of the Union, directly over the main entrance.

Robert Mehlman '52 is chairman of the Union Recreation Room Committee.
