If George Hauptfuhrer, high scorer on last year's basketball team and now a graduate student at Penn, sees the Harvard-Quaker game tonight in the Penn Palestra, chances are he'll be disappointed in his old teammates. The City of Brotherly Love is not likely to yield the win that would break the Crimson's eleven-game losing streak.
Penn, currently pushing Cornell for third place in the EIL, is the only team in the League that has beaten Yale. Its overall record is nine and seven; other victims include Dartmouth, Cornell, and Army.
Coached by Harry Dallmar, a former All-American who now plays with the Philadelphia Warriors, Penn is big and fast. The Quakers are led by Sam Lyon, a six-foot four-inch center and perhaps the best in the League. His left-hand hook shot has averaged 16 points a game. Besides height, the team has an excellent set shot artist in Phil Harman.
Bill Barclay will start the same five that opened against Columbia unless Cliff Crosby replaces John Rockwell at one forward.
