Freshmen Travel To Meet Exeter's Once Beaten Five

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Exeter lost its first game of the season to Tilton by one point last week. This afternoon Coach Lloyd Harper's freshman basketball squad travels to the New Hampshire prep school to try to make its solitary loss a trend. Game time is 4 p.m.

Three of Exeter's starters will be familiar faces to freshman captain Bill Hickey since they are veterans of the Exeter quintet that Hickey captained last year. Exeter has several players who stand over six feet, but playing against taller teams has virtually become habit to the medium sized Yardlings.

Harper hopes his quintet has regained the scrappiness which has been its trademark this season for today's contest. It was conspicuously absent when the freshmen lost to MIT 45-42 Saturday.

Bill Hickey, Jim Downey, John Stevenson, Bill Borah, and Jerry Murphy will start as usual.
