Academic probation for Radcliffe juniors and seniors has been formally abolished by administrative vote, Dean Kerby-Miller announced yesterday.

Dean Kerby-Miller explained that the administration's decision does not materially alter previous policy. The Board has, in individual cases during the past two years, granted "warning without loss of privilege" to juniors and seniors whose records became unsatisfactory in any one term.
Discretion
At its Monday meeting, the Administration reaffirmed former policy allowing juniors and seniors with a one-term academic warning to use their own discretion concerning participation in extra curricular activities and the number of "late permissions" they take.
Board members endorsed, in addition, the Student Government's eligibility rules that require a student to be in academic group five or better to hold office.
