Louis M. Lyons, Curator of the Nieman Foundation, yesterday told a State Legislature committee that radio stations should be permitted to broadcast committee hearings on proposed bills.
"The public ought to have the right to read about a hearing in a newspaper, or to hear it on the radio," Lyons said.
