VATICAN CITY, Feb. 13-Vatican circles said today anathema-the most dreaded and awesome form of excommunication in the Roman Catholic Church-conceivably may be invoked against the foes of Josef Cardinal Mindszenty at tomorrow's extraordinary papal consistory.

Under modern church law anathema is a grim ritual in which the person who has incurred the wrath of the Roman Catholic Church is excommunicated and condemned to "eternal fire with Satan" to save his soul on judgment day.
