The split between winter and spring track seasons became official yesterday when the Committee on the Regulation of Athletic Sports ruled that men placing in either the indoor Yale or winter Heptagonal meets will get their H's this year.

The committee also decided to carve the track manager's chores into two divisions, because the fact "that the active track season...extends through two examination periods...put a greater burden on the track manager than was the case in any other sport."
