Freshmen Smoker electioneering will run through this week and next, Chase N. Peterson '52, Student Council Freshman Affairs Chairman, said last night. Petitions are due at 6:30 p.m. tomorrow at which time there will be a meeting of all candidates.

Would-be committeemen are allowed to campaign from next Monday through 10 p.m. Thursday, Peterson said. Actual voting takes place Thursday and Friday in Dudley and Friday in the Union.

Last year, campaign posters, balloons, and neon signs marked up the Union lobby to such an extent that the University had to spend $1,000 on redecorating.
