Varsity basketball men start a brief vacation from the court today but will re-convene in Lansing, Michigan, Monday, to prepare for vacation time action.
Norm Shepard hopes to get in three practice sessions, one on Monday and two on Tuesday, before his squad meets Michigan State Wednesday night. The next evening, December 29, the Crimson plays Ohio State. On December 30, the team will entrain for Cleveland where it is scheduled to play Western Reserve the next night.
Shepard will be allowed to take 12 of his squad of 13 men with him.
The swimming team will not take its customary trip to Florida this vacation but Hal Ulen ordered all freshmen and varsity swimmers to practice at pools near their homes.
