Both the varsity C and the freshman C squash teams won shutout victories in matches yesterday. The varsity topped the Union Boat Club C team in an away contest, while the freshmen beat M.I.T. on the Tech courts.
In three of the varsity matches the Crimson had to come from behind to win. Four of the five contests with the Union Boat Club went to five sets.
The freshman match was one-sided, with the Crimson taking all but one contest in straight sets. In the one closely fought '53 match, it was the MIT player who came from behind to tie the Crimson man before losing in the fifth set.

Varsity C--Bandall (H) defeated Porter (UBC), 15-10, 15-12 11-15, 10-15, 15-11; Purvis (H) defeated Mason (UBC), 15-14, Bicell (UBC), 15-16, 17-15, 15-12, 13-15, 15-11; Roose (H) defeated Groden (UBC), 18-17, 15-8, 10-15, 15-12; Doermann (H) defeated Sawer (UBC), 15-8, 10-15, 10-15, 17-14, 15-12.
Freshman C.--Ufford (H) defeated Redriquez (MIT), 15-11, 15-9, 15-6; Watts (II) defeated DeWitt (MIT), 15-5, 15-5, 15-8; Elliott (H) defeated Martin (MIT), 15-9, 15-7, 15-10; Glessner (II) defeated Ruanglek (MIT_, 15-9, 15-11, 15-10.
