Chen '50 Is Winner of RCA Scholarship, $600

Francis F. Chen '50 has been awarded a Radio Corporation of America scholarship, it was announced yesterday.

Chen, an astronomy major, was one of ten American students named for the award, which carries with it a grant of $600. A graduate of the Horace Mann School in New York City, he is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.

The purpose of the RCA Scholarship grants is to aid 'deserving students of outstanding ability" who are concentrating in any field of the pure sciences or in various branches of engineering.
