Committee Seeking Money to Build New Graduate Center

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Every man in the School of Education will receive solicitation this week and next from a student special committee hoping to swell funds to finance the Graduate Student Center, now rising on Jarvis Field.

Chairman Jasper F. Crouse 1Ed. said yesterday that a committee of 26 is seeking contributions from each of the School's 248 students. Funds raised will help the Harvard Foundation for Advanced Study and Research in its drive to raise at least $1,000,000 toward the Center.

"We don't care how much each student gives," Crouse said. "It's just a matter of gaining 100 percent participation."

Over 15 percent of the School has already contributed.
