Council Will Start Groups to Hear Food Complaints

The Student Council is making it easier for students to complain about their meals by establishing a food committee in each house.

These food groups, which will work closely with the house committees, are meant to facilitate the existing University system of hostesses and stewards. According to Thomas A. Unverferth '51, chairman of the Council Student Welfare Committee, the food committees will welcome any student gripes, relaying and discussing complaints with the dining hall representatives. This system has been in use in Adams House for some time, according to Unverferth.

Meanwhile, to gain a better understanding of the College food problem in general, the entire Council will talk with vice-President Theodore Reynolds at lunch next week. They hope to ascertain what has been done since student investigations of the food situation began last Spring.
