After two straight victories (and two defeats), and a two-week layoff, the freshman football team lines up for its last two games against undefeated fees.
Today's game, with the powerful Brown freshmen, begins at noon on the freshman field.
Don't think that this two-week layoff has been a blissful, practice-filled hiatus for Henry Lamar. The Yardlings have probably seen less action during this period than at any other time of the year.
Hour exams and dead-pigeoning for Art Valpey have reduced practice time to occasional hellos in the showers.
The only other switch puts Hank Toepke, who can play practically all the positions on the team, at right guard (in the T) while Dick Lionette takes over his left end position.
Returning to action will be tackle Bob Stargle, who spent the Dartmouth game in Stillman. Only man now out is tackle Dick Heidtman.
The starting lineup: Dick Lionette, le; Bob Stargle, lt; Don Weber, lg; Buddy Lemay, c; Hank Toepke, rg; John Nichols, rt; Stan Britton, re; Hardy Cox, qb; John Ederer and Pete Dillingham, lh; Gill O'Neil, rh; and Jerry Blitz, fb.
