Like the football varsity team, the soccer squad will celebrate its home opener tomorrow against Cornell. Coach Bruce Munro yesterday sent his team through its next-to-last two-hour workout for the Big Red.
It wasn't a particularly impressive workout yesterday, for this was "lab day" for part of the team. But if Wednesday's practice session can be taken as an indication of anything, Munro, thinks his squad will have a better than fair chance of beating slightly-favored Cornell when the two teams meet at noon on the Business School Field.
The Cayugans rate respect because hair team which last year tied thee Crimson's relatively stronger squad, has graduated only three starters.
