Today is Halloween. In contrast to last year, no special celebrations have been planned--or at least announced.

Last year All Hallow's Eve saw dances and parties galore at both Radcliffe and Wellesley, and special preparations by Cambridge and University police against Yard invasion by celebrants from the youngest generation of Cambridge citizenry.

Annual Diversion Attempt

Not completely quiet, perhaps, because tonight is the biggest night of the year for members of the volunteer speakers and entertainers committee of Philips Brooks House.

Every year attempts are made by social service and church organizations to keep mischief-making out of the minds of the kiddies by means of a multitude of afternoon and evening parties in Boston, Brighton, and Cambridge.
