Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer said goodbye to the Yard yesterday, completing its Harvard shooting for "Mystery Street" with scenes near Harvard and Sever Halls.
It took MGM four days to finish Harvard's four minutes' worth of film, but assistant director Sid Sydman said last night that studio officials had already viewed most of the Yard scenes and were "quite apply" over what they saw.
Today MGM's camera unit travels to Barnstable on Cape Cod for ocean and sand dune scenes. As soon as they are completed, MGM will return to Boston briefly for several railroad station shots.
