Debaters Richard Hulbert '51 and Henry Steiner '51 won the Debating Society's opener by defeating Middlebury last night in the Lowell Junior Common Room. The question was: "Resolved, That minority groups should not be allowed to exercise the powers of censorship over the instruments of public opinion."

Hulbert and Steiner, arguing for the negative, held that minority censorship was an application of the right of free speech.
