Zecharish Chafee, Jr., Langdell Professor of Law, will discuss "The John L. Lewis Case" at 8 p.m. tonight in the Court Room of Langdell Hall.
Although the talk will emphasize the part of the case dealing with the "duty to obey a void degree," Professor Chafee's speech will not be "too technical."
The program, sponsored by the Law School Forum, is free and open to the public.
Tonight's talk will be the first of two delivered by Professor Chafee. He will speak next Wednesday on "Freedom of Speech in the United Nations."
