Mayor Michael J. Neville of Cambridge lectued to the students of Government 140a yesterday morning in the first of a projected series of talks by men in Massachusetts public affairs. Mayor Neville spoke on the work of the state legislature and citizens' participation in public affairs.

Professor Alfred C. Hanford, instructor in the course on State Government, arranged the talks.

The next speaker, on Friday, November 4, will be former State Senator Philip Allen; and Associate Justice Raymond S. Wilkins of the State Supreme Court will speak on Friday, Decembmer 2. Professor Hanford welcomes all interested students at these talks.
