Harvard Still On Track To Reach Fossil Fuel-Neutral Status by 2026, Sustainability Report Finds
A Harvard boat, manned by Peter Putnam and John Gardner, swept to a close first in the Big Three dinghy regatta at Yale last Sunday.
Other Harvard crews placed third in the Eastern Intercollegiate Star Class Finals at New London, third in the Brown Fall invitation Regatta, and third in the Freshman Dinghy Championship elimination races at M.I.T., thus qualifying for the finals in this event.
The Big Three race, first of its kind, was so close that a sail-off had to be run to break a three-way tie. Princeton placed second and Yale came in third.
The Freshman Championship Finals will take place Saturday and Sunday. October 29 and 30, at M.I.T.
