Rotary traffic in Harvard Square is permanent.

City Engineer Edgar W. Davis stated yesterday "as far as our department is concerned, the trial period has been successful."

Cambridge's engineering department may slightly revise the routing of traffic, but meanwhile the engineers have begun construction of nine permanent traffic signals at approaches to the square.
