Mrs. Cole Lauds Fabian's History

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Mrs. Margaret Cole, Honorary Secretary of the British Fabian Society, extolled the contributions of her organization to British social history before a packed Cabot Hall living room last night.

The present system of social security and nationalization in England are "the legacy of the Fabian society," the author and lecturer told her audience. She foresees nationalization of insurance as the next Fabian suggestion to be incorporated by the Labor Government.

Having given up the idea of "mass conversion," the Fabians aimed at limited objectives and "converting key people," Mrs. Cole continued. Half the British cabinet are now members of the Society.
