AP Poll Rates Cadets No. 2 Team in Nation
Army's West Pointers are the second best team in the country, according to a poll released by the Associated Press last night. Notre Dame led the Cadets by 30 points in the sampling of sports editors.
The ranking of the teams, with the total votes received ran: (1) Notre Dame, 1489, (2) Army, 1459,(3) Oklahoma, 1205, (4) Tulane, 1052, (5) Minnesota, 900, (6) North Carolina, 594, (7) Michigan, 476, (8) Kentucky, 436, (9) California, 358, and (10) Southern Methodist, 341.
