The University of Chicago will award ten tuition scholarships of $525 each this year to college graduates intending to become college teachers.

Applications are limited to students in accredited liberal arts colleges who will complete requirements for the baccalaureate degree during the academic year 1948-49. One candidate will be considered from each institution on points of interest in teaching, personal adaptability, and academic record.

Students interested should contact the Dean's Office for further information. Deadline for all applications and recommendations is February 15, and awards will be announced on April 1.
