Three appointments to the faculty of the School of Public Health were announced yesterday by Dean James S. Simmons.
Dr. William M. Schmidt was named associate professor of maternal and child health, Dr. Alfred L. Frechette was promoted from instructor to assistant professor of public health practice, and Dr. Charles R. Williams was raised from instructor to assistant professor of industrial hygiene.
Dr. Schmidt received his M.D. degree from the University of Cincinnati in 1931.
