Eugene Griffin, Chicago Tribune correspondent who last year wrote an "expose" of alleged Communist influence at Harvard, checked out of Boston's Statler Hotel yesterday at 4:15 p.m.
Griffin made at least one visit to the University during his stay in Boston this week, reliable sources have revealed. Identity of persons he conferred with--if any--is unknown.
Dean Bender stated yesterday that Griffin had not contacted his office.
