An open date allowing for the possibility or the first sophomore or junior prom since the war appeared in the InterHouse Dance Committee's spring term open house dance schedule last night. Represented on the committee for the first time were the sophomore and junior classes and the Crimson Key.
Robert C. Claflin '50, Key representative, disclosed that the Key is uncertain whether to have its proposed all-College dance this spring or to wait until the football season. The Key began its plan for its own dance as an independent source of income to avoid reliance on Student Council grants.
New committee rulings passed last night will allow one closed dance on any weekend, and provide that extra closed dances can be permitted by the House holding the open dances.
