Although it couldn't match the 49 to 26 whipping the freshmen gave Brown, the varsity swimming team last night came through with a vital 45 to 30 win over the Bruins at Providence for its third straight win. The meet was supposedly the first real competition that Hal Ulen's men have had to face this season.
