Robert Smith 2G stepped into one of UNESCO's fifteen top United States posts last night at the organization's annual national commission sessions in the Copley Plaza Hotel.
As representative of the National Student Association on the commission during the past year Smith has participated in two previous UNESCO meetings. When his NSA vice-presidency expired in August, the organization renamed him to the UNESCO spot.
UNESCO's nominating committee placed him on its slate for the five executive committee vacancies last week and last night's confirmation was routine.
Yale Graduate
