Women will get their first chance to view a Harvard Stadium football game from the 50 yard line on October 2, when the Crimson meets Columbia. Previously, Harvard men who wanted to bring dates had to turn in their single tickets in the cheering sections (sections 33 and 34) for a pair of tickets either in section 35, 36, or 37 or in the colonnade (now marked for overflow freshmen ad graduate students). This year, for the first time, Harvard undergraduates, with or without female companions, will be seated according to their academic class. The above diagram is HAA director William J. Bingham's best guess as to how the new seating plan will work out. If any one class takes up less space than anticipated, however, the lower classes will move up.
