Richard A. Bernard '48, regular Varsity goalie this spring, has been chosen to play for the all-North lacrosse team in the seventh annual North-South game in Baltimore the day after tomorrow.
Bernard, a 22-year old Senior, was an all-scholastic goalie for Baltimore's Boy's Latin and played for Johns Hopkins before coming to Harvard. He is one of three New England collegians who will play in the North-South game.
The others are Emery Larson, of Yale, and Richard Meryman, from Williams. Princeton's coach, Dick Coleman, will direct the North squad with the Crimson's Bob Maddux as assistant coach.
