Three days of alumni festivities will reach a climax this afternoon when the Alumni Association hold its annual meeting in the Tercentenary Theater.
Headed by Robert F. Bradford '23, chief marshal of the Alumni, the assembled members of the reunion classes will form at 2 o'clock in the outer Yard and pass into the Theater after commencement dignitaries on the Widener steps review the pageant.
Three of the honorary degree recipients will speak at this afternoon's meeting. Their names, traditionally a secret, will not be announced until the start of the program.
Preceding the program will be a series of buffet luncheons under tents in the Yard. Eleven classes dating back to 50 years ago will hold official reunion spreads, and members of seventy other classes will be present for the day's activities. Special dignitaries of the day are slated for entertainment at the Chief Marshal's luncheon in the Fogg Museum.
In case of rain, the ceremonies will take place in Memorial Hall; the luncheon will take place in the Yard regardless, as large tents will shield the proceedings.
