Crimson tennis players all but wound up their spring activities last week with the election of Frederic K. Bullard, Jr. '46, of Ellot House and Rye, New York, as next year's captain to succeed Ted Backe.

Number six man on this year's squad, Bullard was especially hard to beat in doubles play, relying on a variety of shots from sharp angles.
