Eliot Crew Outstrokes Yale College Champs

Long weeks of rigorous training put in by the Eliot Crew paid off at New Haven Saturday as the Mastoden eight rowed to victory over Davenport College, Yale's intramural champions.

The Eliot Crew bucked stiff head winds along the 3/4 mile course to win in 4:23. It took an early lead on the Davenport boat and led all the way despite a last minute rally by Yale.
