Sixty members of the Harvard Young Republican Club, meeting last night in Winthrop Junior Common Room, unanimously stamped approval on Charles K. McWhorter 2L as the organization's new president. He succeeds William L. Rusher 2L.

John L. Easton, Jr. '47 was elected vice-president, also by unanimous vote while William H. Gribble '49 took office as secretary and Clive B. Kimball '49 was re-elected treasurer.

At the meeting--last of the year--the HYRC renamed Jay E. Jansen '50 as operations director and Loring M. Staples, Jr. '50 as publicity director. A three-man planning committee was set up.
