8 Takeaways From Harvard’s Task Force Reports
In its recent report, the Student Council Committee on Extra-Curricular Activities advocates consideration of creating a Council Activities Co-ordinator. Although discussion of such a move will not be undertaken until next fall, the suggestion, also included in the report, to start "publication of a bi-monthly or monthly bulletin on activities of all extra-curricular groups" should be noted at this time.
There is at present the Committee believes, no satisfactory way in which student can be informed of all the functions of organizations in the University. The Committee's report recommends a two page publication, to be published twice monthly, which would devote equal recognition to all groups which contribute to its support. Copies would, if possible, be delivered to all suites in the College.
The Council's bulletin may turn out to be a valuable and informative publication. It certainly will if the implementation is realized with the same intelligence as characterized the original suggestion.
