Harvard Students To Vote on Divestment From Israel in Inaugural HUA Election Survey
Merger of the Radcliffe and Harvard final examinations in all courses where joint instruction now pervails will start in the academic year 1949-50, if the Faculty votes approval of a program now being studied by its Committee on Educational Policy.
If approved by the committee, the merger will come up for a Faculty vote next fall, according to an announcement by Provost Buck.
The announcement came when Provost Buck, acting under the informal agreement existing between the University and the Student Council, requested that the Council consider the "feasibility and desirability" of the plan before it is presented to the Faculty.
At present, Harvard and Radcliffe students take their final exams separately, with the Radcliffe tests being given under an honor system.
