Three crucial weeks of practice await Radcliffe's teams before the start of an anticipated tough season on Saturday, May 1.
First clash on the schedule is a tennis match with Wellesley. Afterwards, the not girls will meet Pembroke at Radcliffe on May 13, Jackson at Medford on May 14, and Pembroke at Pembroke on May 27. Three more matches are hoped for.
Ann Clark '49 will lead a bevy of mermaids from the Dolphin Club in a water ballet which will swirl the waters of the Boston Y. M. C. A. pool on May 14, the twentieth anniversary of the organization of the Boston Y's own Dolphin Club.
The 'Cliffe softball team will meet Pembroke at Radcliffe, May 5, Jackson at Medford on May 11, and Pembroke at Providence on May 27. May 13 will find the archery squad firing, away in a three-cornered tournament with Jackson and Pembroke on the Quadrangle range.
Field Day
The 'Cliffe's traditional field day, set for May 6, will feature events running the gamut from the 100-yard dash to sack races.
